Romero, the former director of the Broussard Chamber of Commerce, discussed workforce development challenges in the state, LEAD’s role and how it can support economic development professionals and small businesses.
Upcoming LEAD events including the Spring Legislative Event, May 5-6; professional development dourses; and its annual conference October 2024 that will include guest speakers, panels, and professional development opportunities ranges from $25 student membership and higher levels up to $350. It is open to professionals working in economic development at least 50% of their time, including those in municipal roles, power companies and regional organizations
